Atal Pension Yojana (APY) is a pension scheme launched by the Government of India to help unorganised sector workers ensure a regular monthly income after retirement. The scheme was launched in 2015 and is regulated by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA). Under this scheme, subscribers contribute a small amount every month till the age of 60 and after retirement they receive a guaranteed monthly pension of between Rs. 1,000 and 5,000 depending on their contributions.

Pension Amount for Atal Pension Yojana

Application Process for Atal Pension Yojana 2026 

  1. Visit your bank branch or post office.
  2. Fill out the APY registration form.
  3. Provide Aadhaar number and mobile number (if available).
  4. Choose the monthly pension amount you want.
  5. The contribution will be automatically deducted from your bank account every month.

WCD Puducherry 618 Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Recruitment 2025

The Department of Women & Child Development, Puducherry has released a notification for the recruitment of 618 posts of Anganwadi Workers (344 posts) and Anganwadi  Helpers  (274 posts) under the Samshak Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 project. These positions are open only to female candidates who are Natives/Residents of the Union Territory of Puducherry and belong to the local community of the respective Anganwadi centre.
